DAD

Frank Okelberry
October 2, 1955 - May 10, 2010

I keep putting this post off because it is still so hard. My Dad passed away this past year in May. He had been sick for a while. He struggled with addiction and had problems with diabetes. We knew he was sick, but I think it all came as a shock to us still. As much as I miss him, I know he is better and not suffering anymore.
I think of all the things he will not be included in, but I know he is watching us and trying to comfort us. I can't wait til we will all will be together again!
On my sisters blog, she has some of the comments that were sent our way. If you want to read about them. http://cowboyandindians.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Crocheting Maniac

Here are a few items that I have been crocheting this past year. I will post more later that I have been doing recently.

Joel's Graduation

Joel graduated from the U in Electrical Engineering. I am so impressed with what he has accomplished! He now is interning with a company in Idaho and is planning on applying for graduate school.Add Image

He just loved his tie that I made him :) He was a good sport and wore it during the ceremony.

New Years 2010

Every year New Years has been kind of boring for us. We do the usual... Go downtown see the lights, check out whatever is going on, and sometimes going home before midnight. This year we are planning on going to Uruguay. This is where Kyle served his mission! I am so excited because not only will it be New Years, but it is going to be summer weather! It is going to be such a nice, exciting, and relaxing vacation for us! Here is a picture of us bringing in 2010.
BTW, I made the scarf Kyle is wearing :)

Christmas 2009

2009 Thanksgiving

Last year I think we had dinner with Kyle's family, but after wards went to Nakoa's for this.
Mom & Jada

HAHA! This is my Grandpa Bingham, my mom's dad :)

Good Friends

For now I will just post about pictures that I have. In November I got together with some good old friends that I have had since Elementary. It is always so good to see them! We try to get together every once in a while. I seriously LOVE these girls!
Pretty sure Karlie and Joleigh are pregnant in these.

Looking Back & Catching Up

So apparently I need to catch up from the last YEAR. Yikes! I will start on the next post, but I must warn that 2010, now that I look back, has been a year of change, loss, and struggle. As some of you know change is really hard for me, so what you think is not so big, is big for me. I even tear up when trying to write this. So as hard as it is, I will do it anyway. I think this is why everytime I think I need to update my blog, I put it off. I would like this blog to be more of the day to day things that I think about and what is happening. Not just about the big events and such. So here we go!
